Cardiac Foundation Added to "FUNraising'' Charities
by How You Can Give Back on 5/1/2008Each year, Paul Mitchell Beauty Schools spend the months of February, March, and April raising money for several worthwhile organizations. In 2008, the schools welcomed the Larry King Cardiac Foundation with a $100,000 donation from their Magic of Memories FUINraising campaign.
�The Larry King Cardiac Foundation is so proud to be part of the Paul Mitchell fundraising campaign this year,� said founder Larry King. �The $100,000 donation will directly save 20 lives and screen over 1,000 people for heart disease. These individuals are the �working poor� in the United States who are working but do not have access to health care and do not have the financial means to get lifesaving cardiac care. I am proud to call these patients directly to tell them Paul Mitchell Schools have helped the foundation save a heart today! On behalf of everyone at our foundation, we thank you!�
